Norn: local-first agentic finance

A local-first desktop product that turns Israeli household financial documents into a conversational view of money, risk, liquidity, fees, and tax context.

Context

Household financial context is scattered across pension reports, brokerage statements, bank files, tax forms, mortgages, and provider-specific terminology.

My contribution

Designed and built the product around practical finance questions, local-first storage, read-only source documents, anonymized extraction, and explicit trust boundaries.

What I built

Document import, structured extraction, bilingual agentic chat, charts, liquidity and fee views, tax summaries, RSU analysis, and finance-aware live data tools.

Delivery evidence

Published installable Windows and macOS preview builds with signed update artifacts through a versioned public GitHub Releases channel.
